We now have all of our extra curricular groups up and running!
Here’s what’s happening in the classroom:
5th grade is studying Native American music and will be studying major and minor modes starting next week.
4th grade is working on developing melodies into larger song forms along with their bell songs.
3rd grade is working on harmonizing a melody through ostinato and canon along with their bell songs.
2nd grade is developing a song from spoken word to melody and ostinato along with their bell songs.
1st grade is working on steady beat, vocal development, rhythm of the words, melodic echoing and folk songs.
Kindergarten is working on steeady beat, high and low, long and short, AB patterns and call and response songs.

December 9 at 7p.m. CHORUS, GUITAR and CHIMES CONCERT!
January 13 and 14 at 7p.m. K-2 Grade level demonstration concerts!
March 16 at 7:30 p.m. CHORUS CONCERT at Hill Middle School!
April 21 at 7 p.m. CHORUS, GUITAR and CHIMES CONCERT!
May 12 and 13 at 7p.m. Grades 3-5 Demonstration Concerts
May 15 time TBA Fine Arts Festival at METEA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL!
